“From Obstacles to Opportunities”
Do you fear problems and rejections? Do you understand that creativity and success can actually thrive from facing and overcoming obstacles? Would you like to get more meaning out of your work? Do you wish to make a difference in the world?
Nearly twenty years ago, Barry Shainbaum was “at the end of his rope.” He lost just about everything that we take for granted in life. Barry suffered a serious depression while taking a break from the medicine prescribed for bipolar disorder. Over the next year he lost his freelance photography business, apartment, car, and had a run in with the law. Barry ended up living in a psychiatric boarding house, awaiting trial. He lived there for over a year and spent his days sitting in the park and the library.
Cured of the illness seventeen years ago, today, Barry Shainbaum is a successful photographer, inspirational speaker, radio talk show host, and author of “Hope & Heroes: Portraits of Integrity & Inspiration.”
Do you wish to reinvent yourself, grow your business, or just get more meaning out of life? In this keynote address, Barry will share with you how by facing obstacles, we can identify and grasp opportunities to live a more fulfilling life while inspiring others.
